TOMIES WOOD

Tomies Wood is part of Killarney National Park. It provides a wonderful circular route through the native oakwoods with some great views of the Lower Lake. A short diversion on the route leads to O'Sullivan's Cascade which is on the lower road.

To get there go west from Killarney on the R.562 and beyond the Hotel Europe pick up the road for the Gap of Dunloe. A little distance after going over the bridge take the road to the left and continue to the section that has been widened to provide parking. Access is via the track in front of you which leads through farmland.

The landowner does not allow dogs or bicycles through his land but you are free to walk through.
